Naperville, Ill., Nov. 1, 2019 – This December, get in the holiday spirit with North Central College’s “Home for the Holidays” concert series. Enjoy a variety of musical styles, including America’s favorite tenor group, a local school choir, a renowned pianist and a pioneering brass quintet. There is something for everyone this holiday season at North Central.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, North Central begins the holiday season with The Texas Tenors performing “Deep in the Heart of Christmas” at 7 p.m. in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. Since their debut six years ago on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” The Texas Tenors have become a national favorite. These charming cowboys blend country, classical, Broadway and pop music with a pinch of humor to capture their audience’s attention. Tickets are $30, $40, and $50; price range per seating. On Saturday, Dec. 14, Robin Spielberg will perform “Spirit of the Holidays Sing-A-Long” at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave. This performance includes traditional Christmas carols, winter favorites, sing-a-longs, meaningful reflections and exciting tales to entertain the entire family. Naperville’s own Lincoln Junior High Varsity Choir directed by Ross Berkley, North Central College Class of 2005, will join Spielberg in a performance that will leave the audience inspired. Also on Saturday, Dec. 14, Canadian Brass, a pioneer in brass music, will perform at 8 p.m. in the Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave. This quintet performs a wide range of musical selections, including classical works, holiday favorites, ragtime, Latin, jazz, big band, Broadway and more.
